Matthew Hoelscher

Born in Newton, Kansas, Matthew received his BFA from Emporia State University and his MFA from Arizona State University in Painting and Drawing. He has shown his paintings nationally and internationally, including exhibitions in Beijing China, Phoenix Arizona, and Chicago Heights Illinois, including a recent solo exhibition at the Emporia Arts Center in Emporia Kansas. In addition, he has received multiple awards for his skills in painting and drawing. Matthew currently lives and works in Emporia Kansas and teaches at Emporia State University and Wichita State University.
